  • A  Hunting License
  • Hunter safety class credentials (for you younger ones)
  • Shot gun
  • Plenty of amo
  • Wear camo, no light clothes and no white hats/caps
  • Snake pants are great for snakes and walking through brush (thorns)
  • Comfortable quarter top boots
  • Plenty of water
  • A field chair that you can sling over your shoulder
  • A game bag
  • Eye protection (shooting glasses)
  • Ear protection (the best is the small ear muff style that lets you hear until the gun booms and it automatically cuts off the sound)
  • Binoculars for spotting where the birds are coming in
  • Sweat headband
  • Gun Scrubber in a can for cleaning your gun
  • Sun screen
  • Insect repellant
  • Chigger rid
  • Freezer bags for the birds
  • Disposable gloves and hand disinfectant
  • A small towel to mark/throw down where you think the bird fell so you don’t get confused where the bird is – the faster you find them, the quicker you get out of the field
